2024 STANDINGS
In 2017, the AZRCHA board approved a new point system for awards that is based on the AZQHA club system. This is a 9 point scale. If there are 9 in the class, then 1st place gets 9 club points, 2nd place gets 8, 3rd place gets 7 and so on. If there are more than 10 in the class, the most the 1st place member gets is 9 and the 10th place person gets zero. Only club members get points, so non-members are immediately assigned a zero for the class and are not listed in the Club Standings. So, if a class has 9 entries but only 5 are members, then the 1st place member gets 9 points, the 2nd place member gets 8 and so on. In the open classes, both owner and rider must be members for points to count. Any discrepancies need to be brought to our attention within 30 days of being posted on AzRCHA website. After 30 days, results will be final. Only members in good standing will be awarded prizes. Ties will be broken first by the highest composite cow score and second by number of shows attended.
